This is a great opportunity for an experienced Strategy and Policy manager to develop and manage an effective approach to policy and strategy development, by proactively understanding business needs and external changes to help inform the future direction of the organisation.

Take a lead on understanding developments in public policy; both interpreting the impacts for the organisation, and establishing Peabody’s perspectives in response.   


Work as part of the Strategy, Research and Insight management team, to co-ordinate the teams’ efforts across projects and activities to maximise our impact.


Manage a team of Strategy and Policy Advisors, as well as Peabody’s Historian.


Skills and experience required
• Exceptional programme and project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
• Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external leaders and senior managers
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of policy and strategy development
• Strong knowledge of key public policy issues and debates
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Experience of motivating, coaching and developing others
• Degree level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent.
