Peabody are recruiting additional Outreach Support Workers on a full time, permanent basis to join our Mid & North Essex Outreach Service (Braintree, Malden, Uttlesford, Colchester & Tendring). The posts will be embedded into our established team, enabling us to support an increased number of customers living within Essex. 

The successful applicants will hold a customer caseload with housing-related support needs to prevent the risk of homelessness. Travel will be required throughout Essex so you will need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (emergency of face to face).  We are currently working from home under Public Health England guidelines but do support in the community where there is a customer need that telephone support cannot meet.  You will need to have some knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act, experience of supporting people with welfare benefit applications and a passion to empower people towards independent living.
