Peabody has permanent, full-time Support Worker opportunities in our Hornsey Lane service. As a Support Worker (Mental Health) you will be offering one to one support, caring for every aspect of daily life for our twelve elderly residents with mental health issues. They live in a small, homely environment in Islington.

 Hornsey Lane is a Registered Care Service for older people with Mental Health issues, providing medium to long term care and support to people with a history of mental health.

Work pattern

Flexible and reliable – the rota is a 7 day a week shift pattern. Shift Pattern would be a mixture of shifts worked on a rolling rota so staff can plan their own life. Rota currently has two Support Workers from 8 am to 4pm, two Support Workers on at 1pm to 9pm shift and two Support Workers on a waking night shift. You will be required to do all the shift patterns as part of your contracted hours of 37.5hrs a week. Staff get two days off per week if working a 37.5-hour shift pattern. Shift pattern is subject to change depending on the needs of the customers & commissioners.
