LAP Manager -Southwark and Lambeth Various London locations
PCF has developed a new strategy which shifts our focus from centralised, thematic delivery to an area-based approach to provide support to residents and the communities in which they live. Key boroughs have been identified across London and over the next three years Local Area Plans (LAP) will be developed for each. Local Area Plans will be ‘a local operating model in which Peabody genuinely improves the lives of residents and those within the wider community through partnering, enabling, influencing and delivering great services.’ These will be formulated through, and informed by, accurate and timely quantitative and qualitative data. Each LAP will include new services and products, frameworks and recommendations for policy, delivery and strategy. This will ensure a local response based upon accurate data and community priorities. Our existing learning from our current place-based projects including Pembury, Thamesmead, Islington and Waltham Forest, alongside Design Thinking methodologies, will feed into the development of the new plans, helping us understand the lives of the people we are designing for and the system in which we operate. Colleagues will be introduced to Design Thinking and will have the opportunity to learn these techniques through participating in design sessions to shape other workstreams. The purpose of this role is to manage the Southwark and Lambeth Local Area Plan.

Community Mobilisation Coordinator Hugh Cubitt House, N1
Role Context Peabody delivers its community services through the Peabody Community Foundation (PCF). PCF provides services and support across London and the South-East. These services straddle the fields of employment and enterprise, volunteering and social action, and personal development and wellbeing. The PCF delivery model consists of two key strands: • Local Area Plans – strategic partnerships with Local Authorities to provide focused and targeted delivery in boroughs where we have most stock and involvement • Pan-London Offer – a network of services and support utilising the resources of partners and accessible to any resident or member of the community PCF has also adopted a human-centred, systems-thinking approach to deliver its strategy. This includes a focus on listening, understanding and responding to our residents and community as the underpinning principle and driver for all we do. This is combined with us pushing past the immediate problems to seeing and understanding the wider systems within which our challenges exist. We aim to identify leverage points within the system to then embed sustainable and impactful solutions as part of the system.
